FAQs - Your Questions Answered

Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?

Yes – same-day appointments are available. We aim to accommodate urgent requests as a priority. However, we are not an emergency service. For urgent or life-threatening concerns, patients should contact NHS 111, their local GP, or attend A&E.

Yes. You don’t need to be registered with an NHS GP, or even a UK resident, to book an appointment with us. We regularly see visitors staying with family or friends in the area, as well as those without NHS access. Just book online or call us directly.

Private GP care offers longer appointments, greater flexibility, and continuity with the same doctor. While NHS care remains essential for many services, private consultations allow more time for discussion, preventative care, and personalised advice.

No. You can and should remain registered with your NHS GP while accessing our private services. We work alongside your NHS GP where appropriate and will always advise if NHS treatment is more suitable for your needs.

Appointments are unhurried by design. We offer a range of consultation lengths so that you have the time and space to discuss your concerns without feeling rushed.

Appointments can be booked online or by contacting the practice directly.

We are transparent about our pricing and will always explain fees in advance.
A full list of consultation fees and services is available on our Fees page and in the practice.

We accept card, cash, and bank transfer.

If you book online through our Patient Portal or website, payment by card is required at the time of booking. If you would prefer to pay by cash or bank transfer, please call us on 020 3137 8287 or visit us in clinic to arrange your appointment and we will be happy to help.

All appointments must be paid in full before or on the day of your consultation. Please note that our 48-hour cancellation policy applies regardless of payment method — patients who have not paid in advance remain liable for the full appointment fee in the event of a late cancellation.

Yes — in-clinic we offer ECG, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and blood testing, which can often be arranged on the same visit as your GP consultation. For specialist imaging including ultrasound and DEXA scan, we work in close partnership with Trinity Medical Imaging, located on the same site, and can arrange fast-track referrals for our patients without the usual waiting times.

Our practice is based in Carshalton Beeches, South London. Full address details and directions are available on our Contact page.

Trinity Medical Imaging is one of the most advanced private nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging centres in the region, located on the same site as our GP clinic at Carshalton Beeches. The two services work in close partnership, meaning our GP patients benefit from fast-track access to specialist scanning without needing a separate referral or lengthy wait. It is this combination of primary care and advanced diagnostics in one location that sets Trinity Medical apart from other private GP clinics in the area.

Trinity Medical GP Clinic is a private GP service and is not equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 immediately or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, please call NHS 111, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
