DEXA Body Composition Scan | £209 £249

12-Lead ECG (Electrocardiogram) | £90
A 12-lead ECG is a quick, non-invasive test that records the electrical activity of the heart. It helps detect heart attacks, arrhythmias (irregular, fast, or slow heartbeats), damaged heart muscle, and reduced blood flow. It is used to investigate a range of cardiac symptoms and conditions, including palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, and irregular heartbeat. It can also be used as part of a routine health check or pre-operative assessment.
We use a Cardio-Line mobile 12-lead ECG device, which delivers fast, accurate cardiac recordings. The test itself takes approximately five minutes and results are interpreted by Dr Carrasco.
How to book:
There are two ways to access an ECG at Trinity Medical:
Standalone ECG appointment
Book a dedicated ECG appointment – Dr Carrasco will carry out the test and discuss your results with you immediately.
As an add-on during your consultation
If Dr Carrasco recommends an ECG during your appointment, it can be carried out on the same day as an add-on to your consultation. The ECG fee of £90 is charged in addition to your consultation fee.
Please note: an ECG is not a substitute for emergency cardiac care. If you are experiencing severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, or any symptoms of a heart attack, please call 999 immediately.
24-Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring | £225
A diagnostic assessment used to measure blood pressure over a 24-hour period, providing a more accurate picture rather than a single reading.
Includes:
- Fitting of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor
- Instructions on use during daily activity and sleep
- Analysis of recorded readings
- Interpretation of results and clinical advice
